DALE R. LIND
Arizona resident since 1963. Graduate from Glendale Community College and Arizona State University with degrees in Business Administration, History, and Speech Communications.
At Phoenix College he pursued and received his license as a professional radio broadcaster. Over the years, Mr. Lind has been interviewed extensively by both TV and the newspapers about the collection business and his company. He uses his public speaking/broadcasting experience and interview opportunities to teach others about the collection business and financial responsibility, as well as in community service on his pet project—promoting breast cancer research.
Mr. Lind started his career in collections working for a national collection company and became assistant manager within 18 months. His responsibilities there included handling clients who had a guaranteed recovery rate of a specified amount.
After working for the national company, Mr. Lind managed a local company and produced over one million dollars in collections. After three years, he moved to the largest local collection company in the Phoenix Metro area and was in charge of all operations until the death of the owner.
Mr. Lind has built Valley Collection Service to well over 2,900 public and private clients. At Valley Collection Service, Mr. Lind oversees staff training, supervision, legal contracts, and obtaining new clients. Within the last few months, Mr. Lind has been awarded a number of new municipality contracts.
MARIALANA LIND
Mrs. Lind has been with Valley Collection Service since 1992. She is actively involved with all court client activities and has direct contact with either the Presiding Judge or the Court Administrator.
Mrs. Lind is a native of Connecticut where she held positions with ARA services and local schools. Before starting work with Valley Collection Service, Mrs. Lind traveled extensively throughout the New England area leading training seminars. She has also been involved in teaching mentally challenged children and adults. Mrs. Lind is a former teacher in the CCD program at Saint Joseph's Church.
She was a co-owner of a New England based trucking company where she was responsible for directing routes, scheduling, and coordinating nationally with brokers.
